Muzica Lautaresca is a project born from Matt Holborn’s long-time interest and study of Romani violin styles. The band performs rarely-heard Romanian and Moldovan Horas, Doinas and Cantecs in the Muzica Lautareasca style! Matt collaborates with master Hungarian Romani musician Kallai Janos, a virtuoso of the Cimbalom, and bassist  Andras lovaszi with Sol Grimshaw on the rhythm guitar.
